Runze Zhao, known as Draven, was born and raised in Beijing, China, and landed in the US in 2018. A New York-based photographer who thinks deeply about the human condition: after having traveled worldwide, Draven generates his unique lens to see and celebrate humanity. And always delivers excellent work with delightful surprises. After earning his BFA in Photography Rochester Institute of Technology, he goes to the next level of education for an MFA degree. Draven has a commitment to photography after practice a long enough time. And one day, he was 100% focused and dedicated for several hours, and suddenly something flowed into Draven’s heart, and that’s the heart flow. If the world were a book, Draven would have read several pages by being to more than twenty countries.

He loves digging into people’s minds and discovering their connection with their passions. His techniques embrace cutting-edge software and technology- allowing his work to have a unique style, color pallet, and composition. What drives his work the most is his outrageous and fun personality. Anyone standing in front of Draven’s camera becomes his creative partner in his career and always resonates between Draven and them through the lens.
